Mid-Life Crisis Symptoms

Last night I was looking at my piercings in the mirror and something else caught my attention and stopped me dead in my Betty Boop socks. It was the scariest thing I had ever seen in my entire life. I'm not gonna brag about my piercings, but since I took a photo I might as well show off a bit. I know it's blurry, but you can see where some of my old piercings were, and the scars that've replaced them.
Anyway back to the point. The scary thing was that my hairline was receding! Granted I know that every time I shower or brush my hair there's always a huge clump left behind in the drain or on my brush, and all my clothes are covered in my fur, even my car seats look like some persian cats've had a fight there or something, it's even gotten to the point where I got myself one of those sticky roller thingies you sweep across surfaces to catch hair. But I always thought it was natural, especially since I'd chemically, permanently straightened my hair a while back. Plus the fact that my diet is the equivalent of dried dog kibble and I hardly ever leave my room, meaning a lack of fresh air and exercise. Amongst other factors...

But I never thought I'd see a bloody bald patch!!
Upon seeing the bald patch, mom immediately gave me a cacophony of multivitamins, hair-growth stimulators (most probably my dads), hair masks, lotions and potions, and started me up on some fresh fruits and veggies. Today I started a master cleanings diet. We'll see how that goes. She's even suggested I go on a full Detox and colon cleansing program, but I don't think I have the will and energy for something that drastic.

I've got so many pills, I feel like I'm a Jetson, and Rosie's serving me dinner in a capsule! :(

ok ok take a deep breath and listen ..

I have the same problem .. and many girls are having the same problem even foreigners for many reasons:

Did you check if you have any hormonal disorder? Do that before you start any treatment (even herbal treatment).

1- Water: if you ever tried to filter our water you will see how its really bad, its known for the no. one polluted water on earth, check out BBC.com for more info. and check out Nikken.com for great filter water.
Or you can buy your self large water bottles and give the last wash with them (i don't do this, it is a hustle)

2-Stress, when you/we stress our body produce more oil and those oils block the hair folicule with causes the hair to fall and not grow again so if you try the oil breaking ampules such as Vichi (very good) you will see the different. Also the type of shampoo might have a great effect on your hair too.. so if you like to have thicker hair you can use thinking's shampoo or just Vichi Energizing shampoo will clean the oils off your scalp.

3- oil baths: with our hot weather, those oil baths kill your folicules and will prevent new hair from growing. Unless you have a dry scalp with these oil baths might help in growing your hair.

4- Too many pills and treatments will conflict with each other which might give negative results than good ones.

I'm now on spectrum DNC, its amazing, i'm having new hair and it promises rapid growth.

Now Vitamins, have multivitamin for women pills every day, eat lots of fibers to clean your system AND i know garlic treatment helps in hair growth because Vitamin C does allow the oil glands to shut.

It sound like many treatments, i'm just letting you know about all the way available to getting your lost hair back...
But from my experience, now i am happy with the DNC and the Vichi energizing shampoo... and heat is not my friend at all, and i did tried some of the garlic treatment it is a place in hawalii (very good treatment) but i got sick of the hair, since i hate bokhour.

If you want any help or more details, let me know (i.e. e-mail me)

ok one more thing, you cant use your dad things...

you should get some hormone tests (testosterone) and thyroid, maybe there is something with them...

You are using the worst shampoo..

From the picture you are pulling your hair too tight..

And ya 7elwa, be realistic, you won't see any results within at least 3 months, a normal hair growth would be 1 cm per month, so don't expect to see any results before 6 months.

And girl i don't recomend rogain, it will just stop the hair loss, it wont make it grow.

And your pills!!!!! i mean if you read their ingredient they will be just the same ingredients of a womens multivitamin.

and before you take any step of all that i said, please go see a doctor, and if the Dr. recommended vitamin injections into your head, run away. These are the worst.

If want to read more about hair loss and treatment,, also e-mail me

100 hairs per day is the normal hair loss rate, anything beyond that is not normal.

!! visiting a dermatologist is also a good idea!! good quality green tea is also a good idea!!

I woke up one morning only to find myself completely bald, I was too young at that time and too sick to pay attention to little details of radiation therapy and so I understand your frustration about the bald patch, it took me a while to grow my hair back .. The only thing I can think of to tell you is to stock up on fish as they tend to be your best food when it comes to your hair, n keep in mind that stress can be a factor in hair loss and at times it can be genetics and it wouldn't hurt to take a blood test to be sure everything is in balance, hope this helps ..

Lol...I once saw some grey hair on my head. I freaked out and realized I was getting old(er).

It then became a conscious thing - whereby I began to believe it was spreading.

Humans tend to accentuate their own personal imperfections. What we notice - 99.9% of the rest of civilization does not!

Relax and smile :D
