Japanese Thermal Reconditioning

Do any of you ladies out there know where I can find a salon in Kuwait that offers Japanese Hair Straightening? I heard Jacques Dessange has the system and prices start at KD 90. I'm looking for a place that has this technology and promises to give flawless results. No botchy guinnea-pig experimentation on my mane please!!

UPDATE 17/6/06
6:15 pm

I went to the salon that Skunky recommended and got a quote for my hair. 300 KD, give or take. And that was a pretty decent quote too, considering how long and thick my tresses actually are (below my ass when blow-dried). The whole process would take no less than 8 hours LOL!

But let me tell you about the salon itself. Unbelievably professional, cleeeean, and the ladies were uber friendly and answered every single one of my silly questions! They get bonus points for cleanliness alone.
There was another client who was getting her hair colored and blow-dried, and whoa was she being pampered! An amazing experience overall, even if i hadnt actually gotten anything done :P

It`s amazing... one has curly hair but wants it to be straight... another has straight hair but wants it to be curl.

You are the first one, I`m the last one :)

So what, Dodo, you really have straight hair now? :)
As for me I spend a lot of time for making my hair be curl. Every time every time... & I will do it always :)

P.S. by the way, 300 KD... how much in American $?

sever... no i didnt go for it coz i have some problems with my hair that make it impossible at the moment to go for the straightening.. maybe in a few months time

300 KD is around 1030 USD, or 28,000 RUB

chica bonita, welcome to my blog

like sever said, no one's ever happy with the way they look no matter what :P

actually i did some research online about price ranges for straightening in the States, and prices in Kuwait are in the same league as the States

Dodo!

you;ve been extinct from my blog.

It would be wisest to wait till u go to the USA. It is cheaper there anyways. about 5-6 hun'red bucks.

problem with this str8tning is that once u do it, you have to keep doing it everytime an inch grows out from your scalp. it becomes a trap.

my cousin, who owns JD here, does it herself, and she even tells me not to do it, cause it will be hard to pull out of it. See, I have lotsa crazy curly hair too.

Hope to see u on my blog again:-)
Ciao!
