Body Modification
I'm still waiting for Flock to upload my 1300+ vacation photo's onto Photobucket. It sure isn't a stroll in the park. Pffft. And you'd think that after being away for almost 2 months, my ISP would've done something about all those glitches they keep on having but nooooo they have to make me suffer still.
I'm bored poopless, commented on more blogs than I care to remember, refreshed safat more times than I can actually count, and bothered more people on MSN than I care to admit. They all love me anyways :P
So yeah, back to this post's title. I'm talking about piercings as some of you might have guessed, but not entirely. Remember waaaay back when I posted about Thermal Hair Conditioning? Yup yup, I went ahead and flattened my unruly mane in New York. Cost me 600 bucks. That knocks 100 KD's off of the price tag that was put on my tresses here. Sorry Skunky, wont be visiting your folks salon any time soon :P
Another thing I did, which was a completely spontaneous, out of the blue, improvident decision, was to get my tragus pierced. I walked into a shop one day, and fell in love with the jewelry and was like "heck, I want that dangling from the side of my head!!". Hhehhe, I'm totally in love with it. I also got my helix pierced, but that's nothing unusual. Dotty joked? about getting my girlfriend pierced, but that's a bit too hardcore, even for me LOL.
So I was wondering, does anyone out there ,who reads my blog, have their tragus pierced? I've had it pierced for about 2 weeks now, and made the silly mistake of changing my jewelry way too early, and waaay too often. Each time I do remove my jewelry, it feels like someone's dragging a nail across a blackboard, right inside my head. Even my jaw twitches. I know that's normal, but how long will it last? I read somewhere that healing can take anywhere from 2 months to 2 years. Dang I cant stay in the same stuff for that long!!
UPDATE for Purg's sake.

I still do not know what Targus is
purgy.. i put up an update, just for you :P
a7 a7 a7 a7 a7!!!!
I want my bellybutton pierced ooh bas :-p That's more than enough!
adorra i heard belly-button piercings dont hurt, they just feel like someone's pushing/pulling on your skin, but that they take a pretty long time to heal. Had i not had this beer-belly and all these skid-marks, i sooo would've gone for it :P
I didnt know what a targus was either.
Kinda looks painful. Ur gutsy i must admit. Ive always wanted to get my belly button pierced, but theres no point in doing it now, got to get rid of my karsha first.
Just say ear, do not mention something that sounds like somewhere else :P
Im lost now, i thought you were back in kuwait from sunny southern spain, where does new york come into the picture? anyways again welcome back. i think both helix and targus piercings are sexy especially if you got short hair to show them off :)
Delicately Realistic.. i suffer from the evil karsha too :(
during the piercing itself it wasnt painful. Actually there wasnt any pain for like a day or 2... then after that it felt like i had freezing ice hammering down on my head. it was itchy as hell too, and even though i was told to not touch it no matter what, the itch was unbearable. and dont even get me started on how uncomfortable it is to sleep in it, or showering and not being able to stick a q-tip in there :(
Purgatory.. i would've thought that the line "heck, I want that dangling from the side of my head!!" would've made it obvious that i was talking about my ear. i dont have a head anywhere other than on my neck, you perv LOL. and besides, the tragus is waaay cooler than your average "ear" piercing so shush :P
spicy pepper.. hehhehe you're way too confused :p i was in spain for 3 weeks, germany 1 week, then new york for 2 weeks... yes it was an excruciatingly long summer vacation LOL
nipple pierces FOR THE WIN....!!!1
Glad u cleared up my confusion, now where are the pics, u kept us waiting too long already!! hibernation month coming up soon LOL.
shitkicker... always the kinky one arent you :P
spicy pepper.. inshallah as soon as my ISP stops being a whore
marzouq.. yeah they still hurt, but they're so damn worth it :p i think they look gorgeous hehhehe :">
It is true that the piercing will take 2 months to 2 years to heal, especially if you change the jewelry.
I think that you are allergic to the metal.
Try titan jewlry, don't change it for at least a year, don't over clean it eather.
blue ice envy.. thanks so much for the heads up :**
